What is Biokinetics
What Is Biokinetics?
Biokinetics is a specialized form of exercise therapy focused on improving physical function, managing pain, and enhancing overall well-being through scientifically prescribed movement. Rooted in clinical knowledge and practical application, Biokinetics plays a vital role in the prevention, treatment, and management of a wide range of conditions—particularly those involving injury, surgery recovery, chronic pain, and lifestyle-related health challenges.
At its core, Biokinetics is about restoring movement and optimizing quality of life. Whether you're recovering from an orthopedic injury, managing a neurological condition, or simply looking to improve your strength and mobility, a Biokineticist designs individualized programs to meet your specific needs and goals.
This form of therapy bridges the gap between medicine and movement, offering a safe, effective, and evidence-based path to better health.

About Us
Tamaryn Caietta
I’m a passionate Biokineticist with a background in Sport Psychology from the University of Johannesburg and an Honours degree in Biokinetics, completed in 2017 through the University of the Witwatersrand. My journey into this field has always been driven by a deep desire to help people, whether it’s guiding them through recovery, improving their physical performance, or simply supporting them in achieving their personal goals. I thrive on building long-lasting relationships and take pride in seeing individuals grow stronger, move better, and feel more confident in their bodies. For me, it’s not just about physical rehabilitation, it’s about empowering people to live fuller, healthier lives.
